School Based Education Support Work Skill SET

This program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in a school-based support role. Through a combination of theoretical coursework and practical experience, you’ll learn how to provide support to teachers and students in a range of educational settings. You’ll develop an understanding of the key principles of education support, including how to create a positive learning environment, manage behavior, and assist with lesson preparation and delivery.
Course Details and Structure
Units can contribute to credit towards the CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support and the CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support within the CHC Community Services Training Package.

Delivery Style
This course is delivered in a flexible way to suit your learning style. This could include online learning, hard copy materials or face to face where possible. You will be supported one on one by your own Trainer who will empower you to achieve your career goals.

RPL is available and achieved at your own pace with our support for your evidence gathering process. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) converts your existing skills, knowledge and experience, gained through prior work or study, into formal competencies. This is typically completed within 2 to 4 weeks.

RPL + Study is achieved part time, with our skilled Trainers and Assessors supporting you in completing a study Unit of Competence every 4 to 6 weeks.
Known as ‘Empowered Learning’, this learning package is individually tailored, where after a formal assessment of knowledge and skills, students can achieve their qualification through RPL as well as undertaking study in areas where there’s an identified gap in their experience.

If you are Studying
This course is assessed using a diverse range of assessment strategies to ensure we cover the assessment conditions for each unit of study and provide our students with interesting and flexible assessment experiences. Many assessments will include researching, reading and analysing information on your computer, laptop or tablet (Internet required), however each unit of study provides assessment instructions and benchmarks you can easily follow to successfully complete each assessment task.
All assessments are completed in your own time and submitted online, with no assessment due dates. This modern and flexible approach is designed to reduce the uncomfortable pressure and unnecessary stress that traditional assessment testing is so famous for. Marking feedback is provided online usually within 1 week of submission.

- Empowered Learning – $1395.00
Enrolment fee of $500 and the balance may be paid upon completion.
