Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership

This graduate diploma is designed for individuals who have advanced knowledge in strategic leadership and management practices. Eligibility prerequisites include either an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification in a related field of study, and two-three years of relevant full-time work experience. This course aims to map out evidence of an individual’s understanding of leading strategic transformation and strategic planning processes within organisations, as well as offering electives in financial strategy development, leading ethical practices and modelling innovative thinking and practice and then turning these experiences into a formal qualification.

Our RPL Process

Course Details and Structure

RPL is achieved at your own pace with our support for your evidence gathering process. This is typically completed within 2 to 4 weeks.

*We have open enrollment which means you can start whenever you are ready.

Total number of units = 8 (2 core units plus 6 elective units)

NOTE: The elective unit options listed represent the OPEC College approved elective unit options offered. This is a reduced list from the qualification packaging rules specified electives list. If you would like an elective unit that is not included in this list, please speak to your Trainer/Assessor.

Entry Requirements

Formal Entry Requirements

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.; OR
  • Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise; OR
  • Have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.
