How OPEC College can help you
Current government funding models available to our students include:
- The Mid-Career Checkpoint program, for people who are seeking to return to paid employment, or who have recently returned to paid employment, after taking time out of the workforce to fulfil care responsibilities.
- SCOW funding for works over the age of 40.
The Mid-Career Checkpoint program is an Australian Government initiative created to increase workforce participation.
Eligible applicants can receive up to $3,000 to support enrolment in accredited training, if an upskill or reskill is recommended
A government funded program offering support for older Australians to upskill and/or transition into a new career through the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers (SCOW) Program is now available.
Students can receive 50% of their course fees back up to a maximum of $2200
